This article hits close to home. My Mother just passed away 2 days ago. She spent the last 8 months living with my brother, his wife and two children. I always thought I would be the one that would have the privilege of taking care of her when the time came but my brother and his family got to have that experiences. I know sometimes a nursing home may be the only option for some families it is not for me to judge. I just know when I was growing up my Mother gave me her best, she loved me like know one else and when she passed I was Blessed enough to be able to spend the last night of her life laying next to her in bed holding her and telling her how much I loved her. All eight of her children were able to standby her bedside and listen to her telling us how much she loved us and wanted us to remain a family after she was gone. Your right Peter, their is going to be a day when you won’t be able to say the things you want to your parents because they will be gone. I love my sister in-law for taking Mom into her home loving her and taking care of her.

I don’t know what to make of this. It sounds like this kid was troubled and needed somewhere to go. He couldn’t find it, and when his grandparents got on his case about stealing the truck and getting in trouble…he killed them. It’s too bad there isn’t some place kids like this can go to get away from it all, so they don’t feel boxed in.

WHOA, let’s slow down and breathe for a second…I mean, we don’t even know all the details so it would not be fair to pass judment on Ms. Foster OR FedupNI or whatever they call it. HOWEVER, just the same, we don’t know. Kellie, i need you to listen VERY closely here. You seem to me to be a young woman full of conviction, pride and determination. You stand proud in the face of adversity and handle yourself in a very adult manner for someone of your age when confronted and forced to defend. I commend you on that. But no matter how well you handle the accusations and resistance to your cause, you need to understand that you will always be portrayed in similar manner of your peers in which you keep association with. Sometimes a group or company with make a formal separation to the media from the accused or questionable in the interim of the fact finding as a means to protect the core of it’s values or mission statement. You have many times made public separation from the cause of the group to the actions/comments both past and present to that of one Ms. Deoshea “AW-Mazing” Rae Foster-Peggs. I wish to know, how serious you really are. How important is this cause to you? Are you willing to make a formal separation from Ms. Foster in leiu of the best interest of the group and the cause until such time that Ms. Foster has the ability to PROVE her legitamacy in spite of this situation, and the situations and questionable behavior of her past? Some say a picture is worth a thousand words. I say it’s one’s actions that are priceless. You want us to hear you…well, actions speak louder than words so here’s your opportunity to be loud and clear. What do you want people to think about when they hear of your cause? Your conviction or the questionable behavior of your affiliation? How serious are you REALLY? Here’s your chance…make us all believers. Make a formal report to the media of your position but NOT on a blog. Do it on an interview. Be serious to be taken Seriously.

But don’t forget, you not only have to say it, you have to PROVE IT. You can’t make a separation without actually doing it.

I’m willing to have the mayor, city council, and anyone else who thinks the air in our neighborhood is fresh and clean over for coffee on my deck in the morning. How dare they approve and make decisions that are simply wrong and unfair to others. Everyone has the right to enjoy the outdoors everyday, not just when the wind is blowing a certain direction. When will these people put a stop to this pollution? All this double talk and promises don’t clean the air we breath over here.

Ok, so not trying to bash ANYONE, because I DO NOT KNOW any of the parties involved, but…kudos for trying to do this, but maybe you should have looked at it from a different angle. You should have gotten someone, and yes I am sorry to say,with a very clean cut reputation to be the “spokesperson” for the group, and maybe not mention ones who have had problems for the sake of everything that has been going on since the site has been up. More people are willing to follow a leader who actually LEADS in the community and is expirienced in leading groups such as this. I totally agree with all the crap stopping in this town, because I formost want to get my family out of this town. How do we expect to get families to move to this town if they research for jobs here, and find out what this place is, is only a “Little Chicago”? This town is being torn apart by stupid people thinking…okay…KNOWING they are going to get away with things!! Like I said, I am all about fixing up this town, but a wise move to select some leaders that have a record of trustworthiness and an END result on their resume would probably have gotten more supporters.

I am only going to say this one time so pay attention! We have nothing to do with what is going on with Deoshea and at this time are moving forward without her! I am not commenting on what is going on other then that family feuds happen plain and simple! Also we are not all criminals so please stop looping us all together. I don’t blame the conservatives any more than the liberals. The white community has no problems that are their fault right. If we get rid of blacks no one will need welfare and we will all live happily everafter. Conservatives make up 90% of racists so lets get rid of them too. Good luck trying to outlaw it. That law will be found unconstitutional. And if you don’t know it by now, you have been hiding in the basement with the lights out.

Our Constitution has the Equal Protection Clause. And our Supreme Court ruled that such discrimination, as found in Loving versus Virginia, is illegal.
